Responsibilities Interview clinic patients and record patient's medical history Measure patients' height, weight, vital signs, including blood pressure Assist physician with patient examination and in-office procedures Give patients injections or medications as directed by the physician Collect and prepare patient specimens for laboratory tests Enter patient information Maintain inventory of medical and office supplies Requirements High School Diploma or GED Graduation from accredited School of Medical Technology Excellent communication skills Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a demanding environment Ability to prioritize, use good judgement and remain calm during moments of crisis. Exhibit clear attention to detail and anticipate the needs of physicians.
