Join a Compassionate, Team-Oriented Podiatry Practice. Are you passionate about caring for others—especially older adults? Do you enjoy building relationships with patients and working as part of a supportive, professional team? Our busy podiatry and foot surgery practice is seeking a caring, dependable Medical Assistant to join our long-established office. We especially welcome applicants with experience in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, rehabilitation centers, home health, or medical offices, although any candidate with strong medical experience and an outstanding attitude is encouraged to apply. This will be a part-time to start that will lead into full-time. We're Looking for
Someone Who Is:
Warm, friendly, and genuinely enjoys working with people. Compassionate and patient, particularly with older adults. A dependable team player who communicates well with coworkers. Organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn. Professional, positive, and able to remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities Include:
Assisting the physician during office visits and procedures. Rooming patients and obtaining medical histories and vital signs. Performing wound care and assisting with dressing changes. Removing sutures and staples after appropriate training. Assisting with in-office procedures and patient education. Preparing instruments and maintaining treatment rooms. Obtaining and documenting diagnostic information. Working closely with patients before and after surgery.
We Will Provide Training In:
Digital X-ray certification. Therapeutic laser certification. Advanced podiatric procedures and wound care. Surgical assisting techniques unique to our specialty. Why Join Our Team? Pay:
$19.00 - $22.00 per hour
