Job Description
Looking for an experienced CMA,RMA or LPN who possesses the following attributes for a busy, multi- location specialty practice.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, patient service-oriented environment.
- Ability to maintain professional conduct in all work-related areas.
- Possess outstanding interpersonal skills, including excellent written, verbal, and critical thinking skills.
- Must have a strong work ethic and be a team player
- Ability to manage difficult and emotional patient situations. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Taking patient vitals and documenting in the patient's chart via EMR
- Scheduling patients for follow up visits or procedures.
- Responding to all patient messages and call back requests in a timely manner
- Submitting authorizations for patient medications.
- Assisting with procedures when applicable.
- Initiating the Urine Drug Screen procedures in accordance with established regulations and Protocol.
- Submitting physician referrals as well as scheduling imaging and other related tests.
- Special Requirements Certified/ Registered Medical Assistant - 1-year experience preferred College/University equivalent may be substituted in lieu of Medical Assistant Certification Certification in Basic Life Support/CPR.
