Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both outpatient and inpatient settings, with a strong focus on providing exceptional patient care. •Duties Checking patients in and registering new patients Help pick up phone calls Faxing/contacting patients via RingCentral texts Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs and medical histories. Document patient information accurately in electronic health records. Coordinate patient care activities, including scheduling appointments and follow-ups. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic or hospital area. Procedures as needed such as EKG, Spirometry, ABI, etc. Requirements Experience in outpatient care, hospital medicine, geriatrics, or medical-surgical units is preferred. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment. Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures related to inhalation therapy is a plus. Proficient in using electronic health record systems for documentation purposes.
