Job Description

Medical Assistant Falls Church, VA Pay From:
$20 per hour
MUST:
EMR experience Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
DUTIES:
Prepare patients for examination by obtaining medical and ocular histories. Perform preliminary testing, including visual acuity, refractions, tonometry, pupillary assessments, and other diagnostic testing. Assist physicians with examinations, procedures, and patient education. Accurately document findings in the electronic medical record (EMR). Administer ophthalmic drops as directed. Assist with contact lens fitting and patient instruction Prepare examination rooms and maintain clinical equipment. Prepare for and assist with in-office procedures Surgical assisting (Office Based and Refractive Surgeries) Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and postoperative instructions. Collaborate with physicians and team members to ensure an efficient patient flow.
