Job Summary We are seeking Aa staff who is able to work as
RECEPTIONIST AND MEDICAL ASSISTANT
at BOTH locations DAHLGREN or
KINGS HWY.
Duties Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures, ensuring comfort and safety. Perform basic clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and documenting medical histories. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with medical terminology and documentation standards. Provide administrative support including scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and handling medical billing processes. Educate patients about their treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care instructions. Ensure the cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in a Level II Trauma Center environment to deliver comprehensive patient care. Qualifications Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and urgent care practices is essential. Previous experience in a medical assistant role or similar position is preferred but not mandatory. Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient service and communication. Ability to work effectively in both outpatient settings and hospital environments. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems is a plus. Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. A commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to healthcare regulations.
