Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant (MA) to join our Women's Health Clinic team. This role offers an opportunity to provide high-quality patient care within a dynamic outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in clinical support, familiarity with EHR systems, and a strong understanding of medical terminology and physiology. Prior experience in hospital medicine, urgent care, or clinic environments is highly desirable, especially those with exposure to primary care, gynecology, or internal medicine. The position involves supporting patient intake, vital signs measurement, medication administration, and assisting healthcare providers during examinations and procedures. Responsibilities Conduct patient intake processes, including collecting medical histories and documenting symptoms accurately Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates Assist healthcare providers with examinations and procedures in outpatient women's health settings Prepare patients for exams by ensuring comfort and explaining procedures clearly Support medication administration under provider supervision as needed Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems efficiently, ensuring accurate documentation of patient information Perform basic laboratory tasks such as specimen collection and processing Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment adhering to safety protocols Support patient education on health topics relevant to women's health issues Handle administrative tasks related to patient scheduling and follow-up appointments Skills Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to women's health Experience with EHR systems and medical administrative support functions Ability to perform clinical tasks such as vital signs measurement, intake procedures, and medication administration Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and compassionately Knowledge of emergency medicine protocols including Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred Prior experience in hospital medicine, urgent care, or outpatient clinics is advantageous This position provides an engaging environment for healthcare professionals committed to women's health. Pay:
