Job Description
Old Dominion Urgent care in Mclean is looking for a reliable and detailed-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team. You will need to perform administrative and clinical duties. It is a fast-paced environment with varying patient volume, Shift work, including weekend, evenings and holiday. Pay based on experience. If you are interested, please let us know and join our team 1. Greet and assist patients upon arrival. Check in/out patients 2. Help healthcare provider during examination, procedure and minor surgeries 3. Prepare and maintain medical supplies and equipment 4. Assist with wound care, suture removal and other minor procedures 5. Draw blood from Patient if needed 6. Sterlize equipment before and after equipment and properly discard used containers and items 7. Handle phone inquiries, take messages and relay information to health care provider 8. Clean and Sanitize rooms
