  • Ability to work in a fast paced, patient service-oriented environment.
  • Ability to maintain professional conduct in all work-related areas.
  • Possess outstanding interpersonal skills, including excellent written, verbal, and critical thinking skills.
  • Must have a strong work ethic and be a team player
  • Ability to manage difficult and emotional patient situations. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Taking patient vitals and documenting in the patient's chart via EMR
  • Scheduling patients for follow up visits or procedures.
  • Responding to all patient messages and call back requests in a timely manner
  • Submitting authorizations for patient medications.
  • Assisting with procedures when applicable.
  • Initiating the Urine Drug Screen procedures in accordance with established regulations and Protocol.
  • Submitting physician referrals as well as scheduling imaging and other related tests.
  • Special Requirements Certified/ Registered Medical Assistant - 1-year experience preferred College/University equivalent may be substituted in lieu of Medical Assistant Certification Certification in Basic Life Support/CPR.

$18.00 - $19.00 per hour
