Job Description

Busy Pain Management practice seeking a full-time Certified Medical Assistant to work in our Virginia locations. The ideal Medical Assistant candidate will be willing to commute to any of our 4 office locations: Stafford, Woodbridge, Arlington, and Fairfax as needed.
Medical Assistant's Responsibilities:
Helping front desk with check-in/check-out duties Scheduling appointments Checking patient's balances Collect laboratory specimens Dispose of contaminated supplies Sterilize medical instruments. Recording vital signs, Explaining treatment procedures to patients (injections) Preparing patients for examination Assisting the physician during the examination or procedures Preparing injection trays Ensuring compliance with HIPAA standards Knowing and understanding medical procedures Checking weekly inventory of medical supplies. Scanning/ Copying/ Faxing documents Ensure the patients are treated courteously by office staff Other duties as assigned
