EMR DUTIES

The duties of the medical assistant include but are not limited to the following: Room patients Obtain vitals Draw Blood Assist with exams and procedures including endoscopies Triage phone calls Return patient calls from voicemails left Act as a back up to the endoscopy tech Clean and reprocess scops Review procedures and preps with candidates Process prescriptions and refills Document information in EMR Provide office support as needed
