  • We are seeking a Medical Assistant
  • Registered (MA-R) to join a collaborative primary care and walk-in clinic team in Clinton, WA.
This role provides hands-on support to patients and healthcare practitioners while performing delegated clinical duties within the scope of Washington State registration and organizational guidelines. The ideal candidate is compassionate, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment. What You'll Do Provide clinical support to assigned patients under the delegation and supervision of licensed healthcare practitioners. Perform medical tasks within the scope of your current Healthcare Practitioner Endorsement. Maintain accurate medication and immunization records. Screen and follow up on test results as directed by healthcare practitioners. Perform diagnostic testing and electrocardiography. Complete waived laboratory testing in accordance with CLIA requirements. Administer vaccines, eye drops, topical medications, and other approved medications under appropriate orders and supervision. Administer intramuscular injections for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes when established requirements are met. Support day-to-day patient care and clinic operations as needed. Complete required department-specific training, checklists, and competencies. Maintain compliance with Washington State Department of Health requirements related to delegated duties and registration.
What We're Looking For Required Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent. Graduation from an accredited medical assistant program, or an equivalent combination of coursework, education, training, and experience. At least 1 year of medical assistant experience in a clinic setting preferred/required.
Required Credentials:
Medical Assistant-Registered Healthcare Practitioner Endorsement submitted to the Washington State Department of Health within 7 days of hire. Active Washington Medical Assistant Registration within 60 days of hire. Current BLS certification. Completion of required clinical, CLIA, and department-specific competencies within 60 days of hire.
