Schedule appointments efficiently using schedule management tools, coordinating with patients and staff to optimize daily operations. Handle patient check-in and check-out processes, verifying insurance details and collecting necessary documentation. Perform data entry tasks related to patient demographics, billing information, and insurance claims with precision. Communicate effectively with patients via phone or in person, providing clear instructions and answering inquiries professionally. Support revenue cycle management by assisting with insurance third-party billing, claims submission, and follow-up on unpaid accounts. Skills Proven administrative experience within healthcare settings, demonstrating strong organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications to prepare reports, correspondence, and documentation. Knowledge of managed care principles and health insurance processes to facilitate accurate billing and claim submissions. Excellent schedule management skills to coordinate appointments and clinic workflows smoothly. Strong internal communication abilities to collaborate effectively with team members and healthcare providers. Exceptional data entry skills with high accuracy in typing and record keeping. Outstanding customer service skills to create a positive experience for every patient encounter. Familiarity with medical terminology and electronic health records (EHR) management systems for efficient clinical documentation. Effective phone communication skills for scheduling, follow-up calls, and patient inquiries. Understanding of insurance third-party billing procedures to support the revenue cycle process confidently.
