Duties Perform clinical tasks including taking vital signs, patient intake, and preparing patients for examinations Manage electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems) and document medical histories accurately Support medical office management by scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, and maintaining medical records Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information Provide excellent patient service by addressing inquiries, explaining procedures, and ensuring comfort during visits Skills Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, ICD coding, and medical documentation standards Experience with EMR/EHR systems and electronic health records management tools Proficiency in basic life support (BLS), medication administration, and vital signs collection Background in pediatric or primary care outpatient clinics preferred Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and interdisciplinary team collaborations This role is ideal for motivated Certified Medical Assistants eager to apply their diverse skill set while advancing their career in a supportive healthcare environment.
