Pullman, WA Job Type:
Full-Time (30+ hours/week considered)
Pay:
$22.00-$32.00 per hour, depending on experience Join a Different Kind of Primary Care Practice We're a small, relationship-focused Direct Primary Care (DPC) clinic in Pullman, Washington, seeking a compassionate and motivated Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our team. Unlike traditional high-volume clinics, we prioritize quality care and meaningful patient relationships. Our practice is staffed by one highly experienced Family Physician and supported by a full-time virtual medical assistant , allowing our in-clinic CMA to focus on providing exceptional patient care while also helping keep the practice running smoothly. We average approximately 24 patient visits per week , giving you the opportunity to build genuine relationships with patients in a calm, supportive work environment. Schedule Monday-Thursday 8:00am -5:00pm, Friday 8:00-3:00pm Full-time preferred Candidates seeking 30 hours per week or more are encouraged to apply Compensation & Benefits $22-$31 per hour, based on experience Two weeks of paid time off (PTO) Paid major holidays including: New Year's Day, Civil Rights Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. Predictable weekday schedule—no evenings or weekends Supportive, low-stress work environment Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a patient-centered practice 401k match Option for Health Insurance package Responsibilities This position combines both clinical and administrative responsibilities, including: Rooming patients and obtaining vital signs Preparing patients for examinations and procedures Assisting the physician during patient visits as needed Administering injections Phlebotomy and specimen handling Maintaining exam rooms and stocking clinical supplies Managing patient communications by phone, text, and email Sterilizing medical equipment Keeping clinic spaces clean Scheduling appointments Dispensing medications from our in house pharmacy Assisting with general office operations and workflow Collaborating with our virtual medical assistant to provide seamless patient care Communicating patient needs to physician Qualifications Current Washington State Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential required CPR/BLS certification Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Comfortable with electronic health records and basic computer applications Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently Previous primary care or family medicine experience is preferred but not required What Makes This Position Different?
