In this role, you will support our providers across comprehensive family practice services—ranging from routine preventive care and wound care to specialized visits like USCIS Immigration Medical Exams (Form I-693), FAA BasicMed, and DOT physicals. You will be at the forefront of patient interactions, ensuring smooth daily operations in our outpatient clinic. Key Responsibilities

•

Patient Intake & Vitals:

Room patients, collect detailed medical histories, measure vital signs, and accurately document symptoms in our EHR system.

•

Clinical Procedures:

Administer vaccines and medications, assist with minor office procedures/wound care, and prepare lab specimens following strict safety protocols.

•

Specialized Exam Support:

Assist providers with administrative and clinical requirements for specialized physicals, including USCIS immigration exams, DOT certifications, and FAA BasicMed visits.

•

EHR & Documentation:

Maintain precise electronic health records, ensure accurate billing documentation, and uphold strict HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.

•

Front-Office Support:

Assist with patient scheduling, insurance verification, phone triage, and addressing patient inquiries professionally.

•

Patient Education:

Provide clear, empathetic post-visit instructions, medication guidance, and preventive care reminders. Requirements & Qualifications

•

Credentialing:

Active Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) or Medical Assistant-Registered (MA-R) credential (or eligible to apply for MA-R endorsement upon hire).

•

Clinical Experience:

Prior experience in an outpatient family medicine, internal medicine, or primary care setting preferred.

•

Core Skills:

Proficiency in patient intake, routine lab specimen handling, immunizations, and standard clinical procedures.

•

Technical Proficiency:

Experience with EHR/EMR platforms, medical terminology, and basic coding/documentation.

•

Patient-Centered Approach:

Strong communication skills and a warm, empathetic demeanor tailored to supporting patients across all generations.

Pay:

$22.00 - $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 35.0 per week
