Responsibilities Provide clinical support in an otolaryngology outpatient setting, including assisting physicians during patient examinations and procedures. Room patients efficiently in a busy clinic environment, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Perform autoclaving and high-level disinfecting of clinical equipment—a training will be provided as needed. Manage charting and documentation using EPIC electronic health records software. Prepare examination rooms and assist with necessary supplies and equipment. Float between different clinic locations within the region, as needed, to support patient care. Adhere to established safety and infection control protocols. Required Skills Minimum of 6 months experience as a medical assistant, preferably in an ENT or adult outpatient setting. Ability to work in a fast-paced clinic, handling multiple tasks efficiently. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interactions. Comfortable performing clinical tasks including autoclaving and high-level disinfection. Proficient with electronic health records, specifically EPIC software. Additional Skills & Requirements Preferred certification in Medical Assisting (MA-C); willing to accept MA-R if needed. Valid state medical assistant license or certification. Current immunizations and ability to comply with clinic safety protocols. Availability to work scheduled hours Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with flexibility to float between clinics as needed. Candidates must be local within a 50-mile radius of Seattle, WA, and willing to undertake a temporary-to-permanent employment arrangement. Reference checks covering at least 6 months to 1 year of recent health care experience within the last 3 years.
