32 Job Highlights Part time, 0.8 FTE, 32 hours per week Monday-Friday schedule Hourly pay range $21.34 to $30.20, adjusted for years of experience Support patient care through rooming, documentation, testing, and patient education Full benefits package included About this role As a Medical Assistant at Emplify Health by Gundersen Hillsboro, you will be an important part of a patient-centered care team that values compassion, teamwork, and excellence. In this role, you will help create a welcoming experience for patients and families while supporting physicians and RNs in delivering safe, high-quality care. Your work will help bring empathy amplified to life in a rural community setting where relationships matter and every interaction counts. Key responsibilities Room patients and document key components of the rooming process Collect, document, and report patient data to support care planning Assist physicians and RNs with tests, procedures, and prescription verification Use the electronic medical record accurately and efficiently Reinforce patient and family teaching and help maintain a healing environment What you will need Required, graduate of a Medical Assistant program Medical Assistant certification within 15 months of hire Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with patients, families, and team members What we offer Competitive hourly pay range of $21.34 to $30.20 based on years of experience Full benefits package Comprehensive health and wellness coverage with employer HSA contributions PTO starting day one and paid holidays Tuition assistance and continuing professional development opportunities Employer-matched retirement plan with immediate vesting Life insurance, disability coverage, and additional income protection benefits A supportive team environment focused on patient care and professional growth Our culture & values At Emplify Health by Gundersen, our mission of empathy amplified guides the care we provide and the way we support one another.
