We are a growing, multi-specialty Wound, Vascular, and Podiatry Center seeking a skilled and motivated Medical Assistant (MA) to join our clinical team. If you're passionate about helping patients with chronic wounds, peripheral arterial disease, diabetic foot care, and other vascular and podiatric conditions—and want to work in a fast-paced but supportive environment—this role is for you. About the Role As a Medical Assistant, you'll be an essential part of our care team, assisting providers during patient visits, supporting wound, vascular, and podiatric procedures, and helping manage day-to-day clinic operations. You'll work closely with physicians, podiatrists, nurse practitioners, and other MAs in a collaborative, mission-driven setting. What We're Looking For A confident, patient-focused MA who enjoys hands-on care Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset Ability to multitask, take direction, and stay organized in a busy setting Comfort working with patients who have multiple medical conditions, including diabetic and at-risk foot patients Willingness to learn wound care and podiatric assisting techniques (experience preferred but not required) Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program Minimum 2 years' experience in a clinical setting Proficiency in EHR/EMR systems Strong understanding of vital signs, medical terminology, and basic clinical workflows CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire) Preferred Qualifications Current CMA or RMA certification is a plus Experience assisting with podiatric procedures (nail care, wound debridement, casting) is a plus

Job Duties Include:

Taking and documenting vital signs and patient histories Preparing and positioning patients for exams (wheelchair/walker transfers, Hoyer lifts, etc.) Assisting providers during wound, vascular, and podiatric procedures Applying wound dressings, compression wraps, wound VACs, and total contact casts (with training) Assisting with podiatric visits including diabetic foot exams, nail care, and post-surgical follow-up Maintaining sterile technique and infection control standards Managing medical supply inventory and restocking Preparing specimens for lab testing and maintaining autoclave Keeping exam rooms and workspaces clean and organized Why Join Us?
