Medical Assistant We are looking for experienced Medical Assistants for newly created float positions: Oconomowoc Clinic 4 or 5 days/week: Mondays (8-4pm), Tuesdays (10-6pm), Wednesdays (8-4pm), Thursdays (10-6pm), and Fridays (8-4pm). Waukesha Clinic 3 or4 days/week: Mondays (8-6pm), Tuesdays (8-6pm) 10am-6pm), Wednesdays (7/8am-3/4pm), Thursdays (OFF), and Fridays (8-4pm). NO weekends, NO holidays, and NO on-call requirements. Two years' experience as an MA preferred.

Summary :

Responsible for providing professional nursing care to OB/GYN patients in an ambulatory setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist providers planning, organizing, and coordinating patient care and in-office procedures Collaborates regarding plan of care and facilitating follow-up Provides appropriate teaching to patients and family as directed. Acts as patient advocate, assessing learning needs of patient.

Knowledge, Skills, and Other Abilities :

Completion of a Medical Assistant training program, along with CPR certification Two years' experience preferred Woman's health, OB-GYN, or L&D experience preferred Must be knowledgeable of Electronic Medical Records. EPIC experience preferred Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, telephone etiquette, and remaining calm in emergency situations. Ability to use critical thinking/ problem solving strategies, exceptional organization, and time management skills Above average skills in patient education and counseling The providers at Moreland OB-GYN are dedicated to providing women with compassionate OB-GYN care throughout life.
