Duties Greet patients warmly and assist with check-in procedures to ensure a positive first impression Collect patient information, update electronic health records (EHR), and perform data entry with precision Prepare exam rooms, and assist providers during examinations and procedures Manage appointment scheduling, coordinate follow-up visits, and handle schedule adjustments efficiently Communicate effectively with patients via phone or in person to answer questions and provide instructions Support insurance third-party billing processes, verify health insurance coverage, and assist with revenue cycle management Maintain internal communication channels to ensure seamless information flow among team members Work with insurance company for Medication Pre-Authorization Skills Proficiency in computer skills for documentation and communication purposes Excellent schedule management abilities to coordinate appointments and clinic as well as hospital workflows Strong internal communication skills for effective collaboration with medical staff and patients Accurate data entry skills combined with typing speed to handle electronic health records efficiently Exceptional customer service skills to create a caring environment for patients Familiarity with medical terminology, health insurance policies, and electronic health records (EHR) management Effective phone communication skills for appointment scheduling, follow-ups, and patient inquiries Writing skills for documentation, reports, and correspondence related to patient care and billing
