In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience from check-in to follow-up. Your expertise in medical administrative support combined with clinical skills will help streamline clinic operations, support physicians, and enhance patient satisfaction. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow within a fast-paced, patient-centered environment dedicated to excellence in patient care. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly upon arrival, verify insurance information, and facilitate efficient patient intake processes Assist with scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and coordinating follow-up visits using Electronic Health Record (EHR) Medent Collect and record vital signs, medical histories, and current medications accurately to support clinical assessments Prepare examination rooms with necessary supplies and assist providers when necessary Maintain organized medical records, ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations, and update ICD coding for billing purposes Support administrative duties including answering phones, managing patient inquiries, and handling paperwork efficiently Experience Prior experience working in a medical office environment or outpatient clinic setting preferred Demonstrated ability to operate EHR systems effectively and manage electronic health records (EHR) with accuracy Familiarity with medical terminology, physiology knowledge, anatomy concepts, and pharmacology principles necessary for patient care support This position is an excellent fit for motivated individuals eager to develop their clinical skills while delivering outstanding patient service.
