Job Description
Casper Orthopedics is looking to add a member to their team that is patient focused and results oriented. The ideal candidate will find these duties fulfilling and seek additional responsibilities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides basic patient care, including gathering of data such as vital signs and medical histories. Provides casts as needed in the cast room. Demonstrates knowledge of medical terminology through completion of educational training or work experience. Assists physician or licensed independent practitioner during examinations. Assists the physician or licensed independent practitioner in navigating the EMR and/or paper chart to locate medical information to support the work flow and documentation. Performs basic clerical skills including, but not limited to, computer use, filing, and organizing. Demonstrates exemplary phone communications. Demonstrates exemplary customer service skills with internal and external customers. Coordinates medical tests. Schedules appointments. Answers phones and greets patients. Stocks rooms. Cleans exam rooms per policy. Enters lab data into EMR/medical record Qualifications and Experience- At least one year of experience in a clinical environment preferred
- Experience processing orders for lab, radiology, etc
- Comfortable using email and interacting with internet applications
- Knowledge of practice management and word processing software
- Good communication skills Typical physical demands : Position requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity and eye hand coordination.
