Job Description

Our client, a healthcare provider specializing in gastroenterology, is seeking a Medical Assistant to join their team. As a Medical Assistant, you will be part of the clinical support team supporting healthcare providers and patients. The ideal candidate will demonstrate compassion, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Mon-Fri What's the Job? Assist healthcare providers with clinical procedures and examinations Obtain and document vital signs, draw blood, and prepare patients for procedures Provide pre-operative and post-operative education to patients Maintain accurate medical records within the electronic medical record (EMR) Ensure clinical environments are clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies What's Needed? Current certification as a Medical Assistant High school diploma or equivalent Experience with GI or Pain Management preferred Knowledge of HIPAA policies and procedures Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment with attention to detail What's in it for me?
