Responsibilities Oversee the coding process for physician services, ensuring accurate and timely submission of claims Develop and implement coding policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards Conduct regular audits to identify and correct coding errors, and implement corrective actions to prevent future errors Collaborate with healthcare providers and coders to ensure accurate and complete coding of medical services Stay up-to-date with changes in coding regulations and industry standards, and apply this knowledge to improve coding processes and outcomes Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve coding accuracy and efficiency Provide educational training and support to coders and healthcare providers on coding policies and procedures Requirements 3 years of experience in outpatient coding or billing management, with a focus on CPT and ICD-10 coding CPC credential is required Strong knowledge of coding regulations, including HIPAA and CMS guidelines Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines Position is 100% on-site.
