- Level I - Must be a certified coder; CPC-A, CPC, CCS-P, RHIT, RHIA, or appropriate AAPC specialty certifications are acceptable at time of hire or must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
- Strong coding expertise with solid knowledge of medical terminology, regulations, and policies, paired with high attention to detail to ensure accurate coding and billing
- Effective communicator and team player with active listening, conflict management, and the ability to stay composed and collaborative in fast paced environments
- Highly organized, proactive, and adaptable self starter with strong problem solving skills and the ability to manage workload, meet deadlines, and handle evolving responsibilities Description Reviews a patient's medical records after a visit or procedure to translate information into appropriate evaluation and management, diagnostic, and procedural codes that insurers use to process claims for the work performed by the provider.
