  • Position Summary:

  • II•applies intermediate-level coding knowledge to accurately assign diagnosis and procedure codes using •ICD-10-CM,•ICD-10-PCS,•and•CPT-4•classification systems.
This role reviews clinical documentation for coding accuracy and compliance, monitors bill hold reports, and collaborates with leadership to support coding quality initiatives. The Coder II also serves as a resource to less experienced coders by assisting with mentoring, training, and professional development activities.
