Position Summary The Crisis Regional Director (RD) provides clinical and operational leadership for an assigned geographic region within CPR's Crisis Department, overseeing services across multiple hospitals and/or hospital networks. This role is responsible for supporting high-quality crisis care, developing strong teams and hospital partnerships, and ensuring consistent and effective operations across the region. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Administrative Duties:
Complete annual reviews for all direct reports Communicate with CPR Medical Director, Chief Clinical Officer and QM/UM Director about clinical or district issues Coordinate with CPR Medical director on a consistent basis Provide a high level of intervention to help facilitate correct placement of clients Coordinate with the hospitals regarding any issues Attend district hospital meetings and provide high level of customer service Problem solve any staffing issues, technical issues, response time issues at hospitals Provide regular feedback to team members regarding performance, information, updates Complete chart quality reviews as needed Complete monthly & quarterly supervision meetings, region meetings and department meetings Complete recruitment, interview and hiring activities Complete clinical training for existing and new hire staff Complete disciplinary action process as needed Maintain current knowledge of best clinical practices Provide direct supervision and support to District Clinical Managers Reliable and predictable attendance is an essential job function. Clinical Duties:
Complete a thorough crisis assessment and make recommendations for appropriate level of care Document in appropriate electronic medical records Clinicians will respond in a timely manner to requests from physicians, nurses, nurse case managers, or other hospital staff Coordinate and/or facilitate placement services with the CPR Care Team Provide excellent customer service follow up care to clients and providers Counselors must have the ability to travel to the location where the client is experiencing the crisis situation A timely on-site response is required with an average response time within the acceptable limits of the company-wide average response time range Attend regularly scheduled staff meetings Other duties as assigned Qualifications and Education Requirements Current, unrestricted license issued by the
Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners:
LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor), Ph.D (Doctor of Philosophy), Psy.
D (Doctor of Psychology) Documented post-master's experience for four (4) years, including experience within the past 24 months providing counseling services, or an equivalent of experience, skills and education. At least one year of crisis experience in the last two (2) years is preferred. Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive leadership experience in a behavioral health or healthcare setting, including direct supervision of clinical and operational teams. Other Requirements (If applicable) Must comply with training and supervision requirements during first 90 days of employment, and throughout employment Provide evidence of professional liability insurance coverage in the amount acceptable, minimum $1/$3 million All licensed, certified or registered staff will be monitored regarding restrictions, Medicare/Medicaid sanctions, criminal violations, subsequent malpractice actions and any settlement made on behalf of practitioner A valid driver's license and comprehensive auto insurance must be maintained at all times All CPR clinical staff is required to apply for, and/or present and maintain, within 7 days of hire, a Class One Fingerprint Clearance card Valid driver's license and auto insurance must be maintained at all times. Must maintain current CPR/First Aid card and bi-annual TB test All expirables to be renewed and submitted 30 days prior to expiration date
