Job Description

About the role We're looking for a tech-forward Medical Records professional who treats the record as a system, not a filing cabinet. You'll own the accuracy, completeness, and security of resident health information in PointClickCare, and you'll be a key driver as we move the facility toward fully electronic medication administration (eMAR) and away from paper workflows. What you'll do Maintain complete, compliant resident records in PCC

•admissions, discharges, transfers, physician orders, consents, advance directives, and chart audits Run PCC reports and dashboards to catch gaps (missing signatures, unsigned orders, open assessments) before survey does Lead the eMAR rollout alongside the DON, pharmacy, and

IT:

workflow mapping, staff training, go-live support, and post-launch cleanup Serve as the facility's PCC super-user

•onboard new staff, troubleshoot access and workflow issues, and build quick-reference guides Manage release-of-information requests, subpoenas, and audits in line with HIPAA and California law Support MDS, QAPI, and survey readiness with clean, retrievable documentation Identify manual processes that should be digital and help us fix them What we're looking for 2+ years of medical records / HIM experience in skilled nursing or long-term care Hands-on PointClickCare experience (required); eMAR implementation experience strongly preferred Working knowledge of

HIPAA, CMS

documentation requirements, and CA Title 22 Comfortable with Excel, report building, and learning new software quickly Someone who enjoys teaching nurses and CNAs how to use technology

•patient, clear, and persistent RHIT/RHIA or equivalent certification a plus, not required

Pay:

$28.00

•$35.00 per hour
