Local Team Collaboration:
Join our team leading 110 physicians and Advanced Practice Providers at Community Regional Medical Center, Clovis Community Medical Center and Fresno Heart and Surgical Hospital. Lead a diverse group of professionals with backgrounds from all over the world. Become an integral member of the hospitalist team and community. Our team members actively participate in committees and leadership roles to support quality and process improvement.Qualifications:
5 years of hospital medicine medical director experience. Board Certified/board eligible in internal medicine or family medicine. Authorized to work in the United States.Scheduling:
Monday- Friday onsite working both administrative and clinically.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for directing the clinical and operational activities of the Hospital Medicine team across 3 hospitals with more than 110 FTEs. Drive performance and continuous improvement- implement, monitor, and optimize hospitalist programs, workflows, quality initiatives, efficiency programs, and operational processes to improve patient care and hospital performance. Work closely with physician leadership, staffing, and talent development
- recruit, onboard, mentor, evaluate, and develop teams. Build and maintain executive and hospital relationships
- serve as the primary physician leader for assigned sites, partnering with hospital executives, service line leaders, and operational stakeholders to achieve contract objectives and strengthen client satisfaction. Oversee quality, risk management, and clinical excellence
- lead quality assurance and risk management efforts, monitor clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction, address incidents and complaints, and ensure delivery of high-quality, safe patient care. Ensure financial and business performance
- maintain regional profit-and-loss accountability, monitor key performance metrics, support contract retention and business development efforts, and help implement new site programs successfully.
