Responsibilities also include physician onboarding, continuing medical education coordination, medical staff bylaws administration, and oversight of performance improvement activities. The department plays a key role in supporting safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care throughout the hospital.
Reporting directly to executive leadership, the Medical Staff Affairs Director will supervise a dedicated Medical Staff Services team while partnering closely with physicians, quality leaders, legal counsel, and hospital administrators. This leader will oversee departmental operations, budgeting, policy development, and committee support while serving as a trusted resource for the medical staff.
