This role is ideal for a confident, visionary leader ready to inspire a dynamic team, elevate clinical standards, and guide the hospital's continued growth. Your Role As Medical Director, you will balance strategic leadership with hands-on clinical care.

You will:

Oversee medical standards, protocols, and quality initiatives Partner with the Hospital Director on operations, recruitment, and long-term planning Working with the Assistant Medical Director, you will guide and support both ER and specialty doctors while helping to establish new house officer and ER Immerse mentorship programs Drive positive change, support team development, and maintain a collaborative, accountable culture Strengthen relationships with referring veterinarians and the local community 4 day workweek with 3 admin days and 1 clinical day What We're Looking For DVM or equivalent; eligible for California licensure 5+ years of clinical experience in a multi-specialty hospital with 2+ years in a leadership role Strong leadership skills with confidence in change management and addressing complex issues Passion for mentorship, professional development, and medical excellence Solutions-oriented, collaborative, and decisive Why SAGE Redwood City?
