Someone with tenacity, passion, discipline and grit to join our team as a part time or substitute Emergency Medical Technician Instructor at our Santa Ana Campus .

To Do What:

In this position, you will be responsible for the delivery of quality educational instruction by helping develop the technical and soft skills needed for our students to secure a job in their new career.

•Teaching experience is not required if you are an expert in the field. We will train

•Be an EMT-II or EMT-I who is currently certified in California or be a physician, registered nurse, physician assistant, or paramedic currently licensed in California Have at least three (3) years of academic or clinical experience in the practice of emergency medicine or prehospital care in the last 5 years

An Emergency Medical Director within emergency medical services is a physician who provides guidance, leadership, oversight and continuous quality improvement (CQI) for the practice of local EMTs and paramedics within a predefined area. Typically board-certified in emergency medicine or pediatric emergency medicine. Generally responsible for either the creation of protocols for treatment by prehospital providers or providing leadership to the group of physicians who assist with the provision of medical oversight depending on which model of service delivery and which model of medical control are operating.
