Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Medical Director to provide clinical and administrative leadership for an anesthesia management organization in Miami, Florida. The ideal candidate will be a board-certified MD or DO, preferably with a specialization in Anesthesiology , with strong clinical judgment and the ability to provide effective leadership and oversight across a multidisciplinary anesthesia team. This is a part-time, independent contractor opportunity requiring approximately 10-20 hours per week , with a flexible schedule. The position is primarily focused on administrative and leadership responsibilities, with approximately 80% administrative leadership and 20% clinical anesthesia . Key Responsibilities Provide medical and administrative leadership for anesthesia operations. Oversee and support staff anesthesiologists, CRNAs, and operational coordinators Provide clinical oversight and guidance to support safe, high-quality anesthesia services. Collaborate with executive leadership and report directly to the CEO. Support clinical policies, quality standards, operational processes, and regulatory compliance. Assist with physician and operations-team coordination as needed. Participate in clinical anesthesia responsibilities as part of the approximately 20% clinical component of the role. Help maintain effective communication and collaboration across clinical and administrative teams. Qualifications MD or DO degree. Board certification required. Anesthesiology specialization strongly preferred. Appropriate physician licensure and credentials to practice in Florida. Experience in clinical leadership, medical direction, anesthesia services, or a related healthcare leadership environment preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
