St. Mary's Health Care System in partnership with Lifepoint Rehabilitation is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Physician to serve as Medical Director of its 19-bed Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit in beautiful Athens, Georgia . This is an outstanding opportunity to lead a well-established rehabilitation program while maintaining a clinical practice in a collaborative, patient-centered environment. As Medical Director, you will provide leadership and oversight for the inpatient rehabilitation program, working closely with an interdisciplinary team committed to helping patients regain function, independence, and quality of life following injury, illness, or surgery. Qualifications MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in the State of Georgia. Demonstrated commitment to high-quality inpatient rehabilitation care. Prior leadership or medical directorship experience preferred, but not required. Excellent communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills.
