This is an excellent opportunity for a physician looking for a part-time leadership role, 2-3 days per week , while remaining actively involved in the clinical care of patients with chronic and complex wounds. Position Highlights Part-time schedule - 2-3 days per week Medical Director leadership opportunity Outpatient wound care setting Collaboration with Healogics and Midtown Medical Center Provide clinical oversight and leadership to the wound care program Evaluate and treat patients with chronic and complex wounds Opportunity to work with an experienced multidisciplinary team No nights or weekends Support, resources, and training provided Medical Director Responsibilities Provide medical leadership and clinical oversight for the wound care center Evaluate and manage patients with chronic, complex, diabetic, pressure, vascular, and other wounds Perform appropriate wound care procedures, including debridement Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans Collaborate with advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and other members of the care team Monitor clinical outcomes and promote evidence-based wound care practices Participate in quality improvement initiatives Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for the wound care team Help ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered wound care Ideal Candidate MD or DO with an active Georgia medical license Board certified or board eligible in an appropriate specialty Wound care experience preferred Comfortable performing wound care procedures and debridement Strong clinical leadership and communication skills Enjoys working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team Passionate about improving outcomes for patients with chronic wounds Why This Opportunity?
