Medical Director -- Evanston, IL A veterinary practice is seeking an experienced Medical Director to lead its clinical team and oversee the delivery of high-quality veterinary care. This opportunity is ideal for a veterinarian who is passionate about clinical leadership, team development, and providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
Provide medical and surgical care for a variety of animal patients Lead and mentor veterinarians and support staff Support clinical operations and promote quality patient care Collaborate with leadership to improve workflows and practice performance Ensure compliance with professional, ethical, and regulatory standards Maintain accurate medical records and documentation Foster a positive, collaborative work environment
Qualifications:
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree required Active veterinary license or ability to obtain licensure Previous leadership or management experience preferred Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality veterinary care
