Job Summary/Basic Functions Under the broad supervision of the Associate Dean for Lafayette Affairs, incumbent will manage the administrative operations of the Graduate Medical Education office in Lafayette and will be responsible for the accreditation processes and compliance of all Graduate Medical Education (GME) programs for LSUHSC in Lafayette. These programs include Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics and Sports Medicine and rotating programs for the LSU New Orleans School of Medicine programs, Anesthesiology, Cardiology, Otorhinolaryngology, General Surgery, Ophthalmology, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Urogynecology and Orthopedics. Other Information About the Position This position will supervise all Residency Program Administrators based at the Lafayette campus.
Minimum Qualifications Required Education:
Bachelor's Number of years required to perform the job: 5 Type of experience required to perform the job: Professional work experience, to include at least 3 years of Graduate Medical Education experience
Substitution:
Master's degree can substitute for 2 years of professional work experience.
