Job Description

TEAM MEDICAL DIRECTOR
Are you willing to take on clinical leadership within a Medical Team? Do you have experience in a community health setting? Are you looking for benefits effective on the first day of employment? Are you able to meet with practice managers and providers to improve health outcomes and positive patient satisfaction? Do you have the skills to organize the daily activities of the team, department flow and appropriate staff and resource utilization? Yes? Please apply for the position of Team Medical Director at the Lynn Community Health Center.
In this role you will:
Provide medical leadership for the OB Medical Team. Take responsibility, collaborating with other senior managers, physicians, and nursing leaders for establishing and meeting team productivity goals. Participates in orientation and training of new providers. Supervise providers on the team. Participate in developing goals and priorities, collaborating with other members of the leadership team, senior managers and other physician and nursing leaders. Participate in writing policies/procedures relevant to the Medical Team, as needed.

The successful applicant will offer:
Physician, Board Certified, with Massachusetts license. Bi-lingual in Spanish and English preferred. Experience in medical administration, particularly evaluation and supervision of licensed medical providers and other clinical staff preferred. Must have demonstrated past leadership ability. Experience in Quality Assurance, Utilization Review, Continuous Quality Improvement preferred. Experience with and commitment to working with Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and Physician Assistants (PAs).
