Veterinary Medical Director
- Private Practice / Flexible Schedule (Millersville, MD) Veterinary Millersville, Maryland Direct-Hire Aug 27, 2026 Veterinary Medical Director
- Millersville, MD Full service, privately-owned general practice veterinary hospital for dogs and cats is hiring for a Medical Director. Located in Millersville (between Annapolis and Baltimore in Maryland). Long-term, loyal support staff including 1 full-time RVT, 5 full-time Tech assistants, and 2 managers 30 minute appointment times Great culture

Medical Director Role:
Practice hands-on (exams, soft tissue surgery, dentistry) Help shape medical standards and protocols Evaluate new equipment, services and medical initiatives Mentor and support veterinary team membersSchedule:
Hospital Hours- Monday
Friday:
8:00 am- 7:00 pm /
Saturday:
By Appointment Only Medical Director schedule is very flexible- open to conversation on days and 8 or 10 hour shifts Full-time 40 hours is ideal, but will consider 20+ hours weekly
Qualifications:
DVM / VMD
Maryland Veterinary License- Active or able to obtain 5+ Years Experience practicing as a Veterinarian in small animal GP medicine Comfortable performing GP soft tissue surgeries and dentistry
Compensation:
