Job Description
Central Michigan hospital is seeking a BE/BC Emergency Medicine physician to join their team. Expectation will be 12-13 ER shifts/month with availability of more shifts if desired. Completed a residency in emergency medicine, family medicine or med/peds. First year will be as an employed physician with an option for partnership after one year. Four ER locations within a 30 minute drive. Generous pension and profit sharing plan.

An Emergency Medical Director within emergency medical services is a physician who provides guidance, leadership, oversight and continuous quality improvement (CQI) for the practice of local EMTs and paramedics within a predefined area. Typically board-certified in emergency medicine or pediatric emergency medicine. Generally responsible for either the creation of protocols for treatment by prehospital providers or providing leadership to the group of physicians who assist with the provision of medical oversight depending on which model of service delivery and which model of medical control are operating.
