This is more than a traditional therapist position. We are looking for someone who is excited to build programs, mentor future clinicians, strengthen community partnerships, and help shape the future of integrated behavioral healthcare in our community. The ideal candidate is an innovative leader who sees opportunities where others see barriers, enjoys collaborating with colleges and community organizations, and is passionate about creating meaningful services that improve lives. This individual will work alongside our Substance Use Disorder (SUD) team to provide integrated care while helping establish Aeriel Recovery Services as a premier clinical training site in Northern Minnesota. Leadership Purpose The Clinical Director of Mental Health Services will: Build and expand Aeriel Recovery Services' Mental Health Program. Develop strategic partnerships with universities and colleges for internship placements. Create a positive learning environment for future social workers and therapists. Inspire innovation and excellence throughout the clinical team. Strengthen collaboration between Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder services. Serve as a leader who values relationships, creativity, accountability, and community engagement. Essential Responsibilities Clinical Services Complete comprehensive Diagnostic Assessments (DAs). Provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy. Develop individualized treatment plans. Complete clinical documentation that meets DHS, insurance, and licensing standards. Coordinate care with primary care providers, psychiatrists, treatment coordinators, schools, hospitals, probation, and community partners. Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning. Program Development Lead the continued growth of the Mental Health Department by: Identifying community needs. Developing new mental health programming. Creating specialty therapy groups. Expanding access to mental health services. Implementing evidence-based practices. Designing innovative treatment initiatives. Helping identify future service opportunities. Leadership & Clinical Supervision Provide clinical supervision to eligible staff pursuing licensure. Mentor therapists, interns, and developing clinicians. Assist with staff education and professional development. Promote clinical excellence and quality improvement. Foster a collaborative and supportive team culture. Participate in hiring, onboarding, and coaching clinical staff. University & Internship Development Serve as Aeriel Recovery Services' liaison with colleges and universities by: Building partnerships with regional social work and counseling programs. Developing internship opportunities for BSW, MSW, LICSW, LPCC, and counseling students. Coordinating practicum placements. Providing educational presentations. Supervising interns and field placements. Helping Aeriel Recovery Services become a preferred internship site.

Integrated Behavioral Health Work collaboratively with the Substance Use Disorder Department to provide coordinated care by: Participating in multidisciplinary staffing. Supporting co-occurring treatment initiatives. Consulting on complex clinical cases. Developing integrated programming. Providing education regarding mental health and substance use disorders. Strengthening continuity of care for clients. Innovation & Vision The ideal candidate is someone who naturally asks: "How can we make this better?" "Who should we partner with?" Qualifications Required:
Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) Current Minnesota LICSW License in good standing Eligible to provide Diagnostic Assessments Eligible to bill independently Experience providing psychotherapy Strong organizational and leadership skills Excellent written and verbal communication Valid driver's license
