Generally responsible for either the creation of protocols for treatment by prehospital providers or providing leadership to the group of physicians who assist with the provision of medical oversight depending on which model of service delivery and which model of medical control are operating.

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) Department Manager to join our Emergency Department in Bolivar, Missouri — someone who leads with skill, compassion, and a drive to positively impact every patient and family we serve.

The Emergency Department at CMH is a 29-bed unit with designated trauma beds, designated OB/GYN, cardiac and obstetric rooms and medical beds. We serve as the closest hospital for Polk County and six surrounding counties in our service area. Department or facility description from website) As a Department Manager in ED you will be supervising nursing staff in providing nursing care to Emergency Services patients when acting as Emergency Services Charge Nurse. Providing leadership that fosters the development and implementation of a trauma program that meets or exceeds the state regulations; as well as fostering autonomy, accountability, service excellence, professional growth and development of staff. In collaboration with the ED staff, the Director of Emergency Services, the ED Medical Director, ancillary services and hospital administration, ensures that CMH's Emergency Department provides care that meets or exceeds the Standard of Care for Emergency Departments as dictated by JCAHO, CMS, State of Missouri, OSHA, State Regulations for a designated STROKE, STEMI, and Trauma Center, and other applicable regulating and surveying agencies. We strive to continuously educate and support each other in the advancement of critical thinking and proficiency in our skill set. Qualifications:
Education:
Associates or Bachelor's degree
