Emergency Department Manager- Up to 15% Annual Bonus Relocation Assistance for out of state Candidates Full-Time Leadership Position Day Shifts - One weekend of on-call 1x per month for staffing/resource support Lead, Inspire, and Elevate Emergency Care We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Manager to lead a high-performing Emergency Department during an exciting period of growth and transformation. This is an exceptional opportunity for a relationship-focused nursing leader who is passionate about developing people, driving operational excellence, and creating a positive culture that delivers outstanding patient outcomes. The ideal candidate is a visible, hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys mentoring frontline teams, and can balance accountability with collaboration. Responsibilities Provide operational and clinical leadership for a busy Emergency Department. Lead, mentor, coach, and develop nursing staff and frontline leaders. Partner closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to improve patient flow and departmental efficiency. Drive quality initiatives related to patient throughput, sepsis, stroke, patient satisfaction, safety, and clinical outcomes. Oversee staffing, scheduling, performance management, budgeting, and resource allocation. Help shape and grow a modern Emergency Department focused on excellence in patient care. Qualifications Required Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Current RN license or Multistate compact license. Minimum of three (3) years of Acute Care RN experience. At least seven (7) years of Emergency Department nursing experience. Minimum two (2) years of leadership experience in a Supervisor, Assistant Manager, Manager, or similar nursing leadership role. Demonstrated success improving metrics such as: Sepsis performance Stroke performance Patient throughput Patient satisfaction Staffing and retention Quality and safety outcomes Experience leading change initiatives and improving team culture. Strong physician partnership and collaboration skills. Proven ability to mentor and develop emerging leaders.
