Medical Director- Staff Specialist
- Hospital in the Home (HiTH)
- Tamworth Rural Referral Hospital Tamworth Rual Referral Hospital is seeking a Medical Director to lead and implement the clinical direction of the Hospital in the Home (HITH) Service.
HNELHD 1.
Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist (Medical/ Acute Care, or other relevant specialty), and/or overseas trained specialist pathways. 2. Demonstrated current and senior level clinical experience in Hospital in the Home/ Post Acute Services at therole delineation of the service. 3. Demonstrated experience as a Medical Director with comprehensive knowledge of and experience in budgeting, financial planning and performance to achieve the goals of the organisation. 4. Demonstrated experience in clinical leadership of acute/post-acute care services service delivery at a strategic level, with the demonstrated ability to work effectively as a clinical leader and the ability to be part of a multidisciplinary team. 5. Demonstrated ability to develop, implement and evaluate models of service delivery, coordinate services, allocate resources, negotiate with stakeholders and monitor service delivery to ensure that services are delivered in alignment with the organisational goals. 6. Demonstrated ability to transform or enhance the culture within an organisation as well as demonstrated communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills necessary to lead with vision and inspire the commitment of others. 7. Demonstrated commitment to clinical governance with detailed knowledge of, and experience in, governance and clinical risk management principles and practices to achieve goals of the organisation. 8. Demonstrated ability to actively seek out improvements to service delivery, initiate change, consult with those affected by changes and proactively manage potential conflicts. 9.
