Medical Director (Detox & Residential)

Mays Landing Area We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist/Physician to serve as Contract Medical Director for a Detox and Residential Behavioral Health Program in the Mays Landing, New Jersey area. This contracted leadership role is ideal for an experienced psychiatrist or physician seeking flexible scheduling, clinical autonomy, and the opportunity to provide medical oversight without a heavy patient caseload. Role Overview Provide medical and psychiatric oversight for detox and residential levels of care Ensure compliance with state and accrediting body standards Collaborate with nursing, clinical, and executive leadership Review and approve detox protocols, medication management, and clinical policies Limited direct patient care Qualifications MD or DO with a Psychiatry specialization Active New Jersey medical license (or ability to obtain) Must live within 30 miles of the facility Position Details Contracted Flexible time commitment On-site and/or hybrid availability depending on program needs Competitive contract compensation Interested candidates are encouraged to apply or message directly for additional details.
