Our program is at the forefront of pediatric hepatology, offering comprehensive care for children with both transplant and non-transplant liver diseases. Our multidisciplinary team consists of medical and surgical specialists that includes advanced pediatric biliary endoscopy, pediatric and liver pathologists, pediatric and interventional radiology, nursing, and social work to ensure that each child receives personalized, top-notch care.

The ideal candidate would have:

Board Certification in both Pediatric Gastroenterology and Pediatric Transplant Hepatology At least 5-10 years of experience in an active pediatric liver transplant program Proven track record of clinical and research excellence Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork skills

There is a long-standing clinical research program that now includes three research coordinators. Cohen Children's Medical Center opened in 1983 as the New York metropolitan area's only hospital designed exclusively for children.
