Pediatric Medical Director in Rockaway Park, Queens, New York Part-Time or Full-Time
  • Approximately $250k Starting Salary

MA Support Now Hiring:
Pediatric Medical Director in Rockaway Park, Queens, NY. Great opportunity for pediatricians who want leadership/admin time while ultimately still seeing patients. Of the part-time 16-24 hours/week schedule, 8 hours are administrative and the rest is clinical with a competitive part-time salary equivalent of $125
  • 170/hour.
Pediatric Medical Director Opportunity in Rockaway Park, Queens, NY Private group practice: MDs, NP, MAs, RN, and Front Desk support 100% outpatient opportunity with MA and RN support, minimal phone call coverage (shared with nurse triage line) Weekday average of 20 patients per day
Full-time:
Approximately 40 hours per week Part-time schedule options: 16 hours per week (2 days) or 24 hours per week (3 days) Full-time salary for up to 40 hours/week: Up to $250,000 (depending on experience) Part-time compensation discussable upon experience and hours per week (16 vs 24 hours/week) Occasional weekend call shared with other pediatricians 100% patient attendance rate Administrative Responsibilities of the
Pediatric Medical Director:
The role is approximately 20% administrative and 80% clinical Clinical Leadership & Operations
  • Oversee daily operations, provider workflow, quality metrics, and patient care standards. Lead staff meetings and manage escalated clinical concerns. Staff Management & HR Collaboration
  • Support hiring, onboarding, performance evaluations, conflict resolution, and staff development. Policy, Compliance & Strategic Oversight
  • Develop policies, ensure regulatory compliance, optimize workflows, and provide clinical insight on staffing, costs, and billing. Patient Experience & Communication
  • Promote high-quality, compassionate care, clear communication, and a collaborative culture that strengthens patient and community trust.
Comprehensive Benefits for the
Pediatric Medical Director Part-Time:
2 weeks PTO (10 days), 1 week (5 days) unpaid leave, paid malpractice
Full-Time:
3-4 weeks PTO (15-20 days, negotiable), health insurance, 401k with employer match up to 4% of salary, CME & Subscriptions, paid malpractice, and FMLA (paternity/maternity leave) Requirements of the Pediatric Medical Director Doctor of Medicine (MD)/Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) 1+ years of post-residency experience required Board Certified in Pediatrics Demonstrated clinical leadership or management experience Strong organizational, communication, and team management skills Unrestricted New York Medical License Ability to begin employment by Fall (September/October) Interview Today!
