Inpatient Psychiatrist Opportunity Location:

Columbus, OH We are seeking a Psychiatrist to join an established behavioral health program in Columbus, Ohio . Opportunities are available for both a Medical Director and a secondary psychiatrist within a 70+ bed adult inpatient behavioral health program with Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) services . The psychiatrists will provide clinical care to adult patients while working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary behavioral health team. The Medical Director will also provide clinical leadership and oversight for the psychiatric program. Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and treat adult patients with psychiatric and behavioral health conditions Provide inpatient psychiatric care Conduct psychiatric evaluations and ongoing patient assessments Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans Manage psychiatric medications and monitor response to treatment Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, therapists, social workers, and other behavioral health professionals Participate in treatment planning, discharge planning, and continuity of care Support coordination of care between inpatient and PHP services Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Participate in quality improvement and clinical program initiatives Medical Director responsibilities may also include: Provide clinical leadership and medical oversight for the psychiatric program Support and oversee psychiatric providers and advanced practice clinicians Assist with development and implementation of clinical policies and standards Participate in quality, compliance, and performance improvement initiatives Collaborate with facility leadership regarding clinical operations and patient care Position Highlights 70+ bed adult inpatient behavioral health program Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) Medical Director opportunity Secondary psychiatrist opportunity Adult inpatient Psychiatry focus Multidisciplinary behavioral health team Combination of direct patient care and leadership opportunities Competitive compensation Requirements MD or DO Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry Completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency Eligible for an Ohio medical license Adult inpatient Psychiatry experience preferred Leadership or Medical Director experience preferred for the Medical Director position Strong clinical, leadership, and communication skills
