DBH :
Organizes, administers & directs clinical & administrative activities for the Department of Nursing Services, Staff Education & Training, CSN & the Medical Clinic Develops & oversees the implementation of the nursing department goals, objectives, policies & procedures Assures compliance with the standards, rules, & regulations set by COBH, Ohio Department of Behavioral Health (DBH), & accrediting body agencies (i.e., The Joint Commission [TJC], Medicare [CMS]) Conducts clinical evaluations & reviews to assure appropriateness of patient care/services Develops & oversees the implementation of nursing department competency programs, develops & directs Performance Improvement (PI) initiatives for nursing & aligns those activities with organization's PI program Develops & assures consistent compliance with nursing staffing models/patterns Supervises Assistant Director of Nursing, Clinical Nurse Managers, & Nurse Supervisors Attends & functions as chairperson to hospital committees & meetings as assigned This is an hourly position and is exempt from the bargaining units, with a pay range of 17 on the E1 Exempt Pay Range Schedule . Normal working hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 am- 4:00 pm (Flexible Schedule).
